Pavni Bhardwaj is a rising junior (11th grade) student at Academy of Allied Health Sciences at Union County Vocational-Technical Schools (UCVTS).
Pavni has been learning Bharatanatyam since she was five, and has studied under the tutelage of Guru Suba Ramesh Parmar and Guru Shri Swamimalai K. Suresh. Through her journey, she has grown to gain a further understanding and appreciation of the art.
Outside of dance, Pavni is an avid musician, and has studied the Saxophone since she was 9, She is a member of the Governor Livingston Marching Band, and has performed at the Atlantic Coast Championships.
Pavni is also a dedicated member of the community and has led environmental projects as part of her girl scout troop. She received her Silver Award by helping members learn about sustainability through the creation of a town website.
Pavni actively serves in the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad as a cadet member. She also does fencing and has received her Karate black belt recently.
